CHCI Scholarships - Afforded to Latino students who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future. There is no GPA or major requirement. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
-Consistent active participation in public and/or community service activities
-Demonstrated financial need
-Good writing skills
-Full-time enrollment in an accredited community college, four-year university, or graduate/professional program during the period for which scholarship is requested
-U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency
HACU Scholarship Program - All scholarship recipients MUST meet all of the following criteria:
1. Demonstrate financial need
2. Meet the specified criteria for the scholarship to which they are applying
3. Be attending a HACU-member institution (excluding international members) at the time applications are completed and scholarship awards are made. *Regis is a member institution.
Hispanic College Fund - Eligibility Criteria:
-Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent
-Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the U.S. or Puerto Rico
-Must be studying at an accredited university in the U.S. or Puerto Rico for the upcoming academic year
-Must be (or plan to be) enrolled full-time as an undergraduate student for the upcoming academic year 2008-2009
-Must have earned and maintain a cumulative Grade Point Average of no less than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
-Student must demonstrate financial need
Hispanic Scholarship Fund - The nation's largest provider of college finanacial aid for Latinos. Requirements include:
-Be a community college, undergraduate or graduate student
-Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
-Have plans to enroll FULL-TIME in a degree seeking program at a two or four year U.S. accredited institution in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands or Guam in the upcoming academic year.
LAEF Scholarship Information - Awards funds to qualified students who have demonstrated a commitment to the Hispanic community.
Requirements:
-Colorado resident
-Hispanic heritage and/or actively involved in the Hispanic community
-Accepted to an accredited college, university or vocational school
-Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average
-Recipients are required to fulfill 10 hours of community service during year of funding.
MUST Scholarship Program (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) - This program is open to all U.S. citizens, who are pursuing an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) discipline at a college or university that is accredited in the United States are eligible for the MUST funding opportunity.
Sallie Mae Fund First In My Family Scholarship Program - Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent
-Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in the United States.
-Must be an undergraduate student for the upcoming year who attends school in the United States or Puerto Rico.
-Must be studying full-time in the United States or Puerto Rico
-Must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
-Must demonstrate financial need
-Must be first in family to attend college for the upcoming academic year
Lockheed Martin Scholarship Program (Business administration, Science or Engineering) -
Eligibility Requirements:
-Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent
-Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the United States
-Must be studying full-time in the United States or Puerto Rico
-Must have a minimum GPA of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
-Must demonstrate financial need
-Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, science or engineering for the 2008-2009 academic year
LaGrant Foundation (Scholarships for careers in advertising, marketing and public relations) -
-Must be U.S. citizen
-Must be a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American, Asian Pacific American, Hispanic or Native American.
-Must be a full-time student at a 4-year accredited institution
-Must have a minimum of 2.75 GPA
-Be United States Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
-Be of Hispanic heritage
-Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from either a bachelors degree or masters degree. OR have a minimum grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale from a bachelors degree in combination with two years of full-time work experience.
-Be current NSHMBA member. (Member ID required. Applicants who are not currently a NSHMBA member may apply now at the scholarship applicant rate. -Be enrolled in an accredited graduate business program in a college or university in the United States or Puerto Rico.
-A declared accounting major with the intention of pursuing the CPA credential
-Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at a four-year or upper division institution, unless completing his/her final semester of study
-Successfully completed at least 30 semester hours of college coursework, including at least 6 semester hours in accounting
-Maintained at least a 3.3 GPA (major and cumulative)
-A student of Black or African American; Hispanic or Latino; Asian; American Indian or Alaska Native; Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander; or of two or more races
-A U.S. citizen or permanent resident
-An AICPA Student Affiliate member
-Must be Hispanic or of Hispanic descent
